About Chouquet's
Chouquet’s was not designed to be the next hip and trendy
restaurant. It was not designed to be an ode to a country and its
cuisine. It was created to provide three elements of what we consider
a memorable meal out.
First, our kitchen focuses on a balance of new and familiar tastes served
up in lighter dishes that allow our diners to settle into the comfort
of what they expected, yet experience something new at the same time.
We hope to introduce you to a dish that becomes a
personal favorite.
Second, our service staff is devoted and dedicated to your enjoyment
of your meal while in our care. We are here to minimize the “fuss” and
want you to enjoy our food through attentive, professional, and unpretentious
service.
Besides our lunch, brunch, dinner, and dessert selections, we have over
15 wines by the glass (including champagne) and over 70 wines with special
emphasis on excellent value, smaller vineyard wines from the Pacific Northwest,
Oceania, South America, and Europe. In addition, we serve our favorite
beers on tap: “1664” from France, Sierra Nevada from California, and a "Guest" beer that changes periodically.
Third, our dining room and outside patio were designed to complement
and not take center stage to your meal. With twenty-four tables
surrounded by expansive windows, cream walls and burnt orange features,
the dining room is crisp; yet it provides a warm atmosphere to share food
and company with a party of two or forty. Diners can also sit at our lacquered bar designed by Dominique Maxime Genauzeau, who also designed the look and feel of Chouquet's.
